Terms of Service
The terms that govern use of the ChapterAgent website and platform.
Acceptance of These Terms
By using the ChapterAgent website (chapteragent.com) or the ChapterAgent platform, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you are using the platform on behalf of a chapter or organization, you represent that you are authorized to act for that organization, and these terms apply to the organization as well.
The Service
ChapterAgent is a chapter management platform: membership, youth mentoring programs, events, governance, finance, and communications, with an AI assistant that drafts content and performs tasks for a chapter user to review and approve. Features may change as the platform evolves.
Accounts and Access
Access to the platform is provided through accounts a chapter administers. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
Chapter Data and Responsibilities
Records a chapter keeps in the platform — membership rosters, contacts, youth program applications, events, minutes, and similar — belong to the chapter. The chapter is responsible for having the right to store that information and for the accuracy of the consents it records, including parent or guardian consent for youth program participants and opt-in consent for communications.
Communications Tools
The platform lets chapters send email and text messages to their members, program families, and contacts. Chapters must send only to recipients who have opted in, honor opt-outs, and comply with applicable law. Text messaging is governed by our Text Messaging (SMS) Policy; recipients can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP and out of email via the unsubscribe link in any message.
Payments
Dues, donations, and event payments made through the platform are processed by third-party payment providers; ChapterAgent does not store full payment card details. Platform subscription fees, when applicable, are described at the time of purchase.
Connected Accounts and Integrations
Chapters may optionally connect third-party services — for example, a Google Workspace role mailbox, an accounting system, or a payment provider. Use of a connected service is also subject to that provider's own terms, and a chapter can disconnect an integration at any time. Our handling of data from connected Google accounts is described in the Privacy Policy.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform to send unsolicited or unlawful communications.
- Attempt to access accounts, chapters, or data you are not authorized to access.
- Interfere with the operation or security of the service.
- Use the service to violate the rights or privacy of others.
Intellectual Property
The platform, including its software, design, and content we create, is owned by ChapterAgent and protected by law. Chapter data remains the chapter's. We grant chapters and their users a limited, non-exclusive right to use the platform for their organization's operations while their access is active.
Disclaimers
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. AI-generated drafts are provided for a chapter user's review; the chapter is responsible for reviewing and approving content before it is sent or published.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChapterAgent will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the service.
Termination
We may suspend or end access to the service for violation of these terms. A chapter may stop using the service at any time; upon request, we will provide a chapter an export of its data.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date below reflects the most recent version, and continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
